MEMAHAMI TANGGUNG JAWAB GEREJA TERHADAP PEREMPUAN KORBAN KDRT: Prinsip Alkitab Terhadap Pelayanan Pastoral Konseling Kekerasan

This study aims to explore the church’s responsibility in providing pastoral counseling to women who are victims of domestic violence (DV) and the application of Biblical principles in this context. The research benefits by offering a deeper understanding of how the church can more effectively support DV victims and strengthen pastoral care practices. The research employs a qualitative descriptive method, including observations of churches in North Sulawesi and a review of related literature from both local and international sources. Data collection techniques involve direct observation and document analysis, while data analysis techniques focus on identifying key themes from the findings. The results indicate that the church plays a crucial role in providing holistic support based on Biblical principles, including love, equality, and care. The conclusion highlights that to optimize the church’s role in supporting DV victims, a thorough understanding of Biblical teachings and their application in pastoral care is required, with an emphasis on recovery and empowerment of the victims.
