This study aims to analyze the dimensions of the Kingdom of God in the Gospel of Matthew and their implications for political polarization within the Christian community. In an increasingly divided socio-political context, a theological understanding of the Kingdom of God becomes essential for the church to adopt a critical and prophetic stance. This research employs a qualitative approach, utilizing theological-biblical analysis, a literature review, and a contextual study in Tomohon City, North Sulawesi. The data were analyzed descriptively and interpretatively to uncover theological meaning and its relevance to contemporary issues. The findings reveal that the Kingdom of God is understood in the Gospel of Matthew as a divine reign that demands repentance, renewal of life, and moral commitment while simultaneously embodying transformative ecclesiological, eschatological, and ethical dimensions. The values of love, justice, humility, and reconciliation taught by Jesus prove to be relevant as alternatives to a political culture marked by hostility and exclusive identity. The church is called not to be trapped in partisan politics but to stand as a prophetic community that offers an alternative voice, fosters brotherhood across differences, and becomes an agent of peace. In conclusion, this study emphasizes the urgency for the church to reconstruct its understanding and practice of politics in accordance with the vision of the Kingdom of God so that it may serve as salt and light in a polarized society.
