Strategi Kepemimpinan Pastoral dalam Pengelolaan Konflik Jemaat

This study aims to examine pastoral leadership strategies in managing congregational conflict and to identify the role of church leaders in fostering reconciliation and strengthening faith communities. The study contributes conceptually to the development of contextual pastoral leadership and practically serves as a reference for church ministers, particularly in pastoral counseling and congregational conflict management. This research employs a descriptive qualitative method, utilizing observation and interviews with church leaders and actively involved congregation members as data collection techniques. The findings reveal that congregational conflict can be constructively managed through pastoral leadership grounded in Christ’s example as the Good Shepherd, characterized by love, humility, willingness to listen, integrity, and emotional intelligence. Pastoral leaders who are capable of understanding congregational emotional dynamics, interpreting God’s will through Scripture, and building open communication are shown to be effective in facilitating dialogue, forgiveness, and reconciliation. In conclusion, servant-oriented and relational pastoral leadership represents an urgent and relevant strategy for managing congregational conflict, strengthening church unity, and promoting spiritual growth within faith communities.
