This study aims to examine the challenges faced by Christian Religious Education (PAK) teachers in remote areas and to formulate relevant interventions to enhance their competencies. The benefits of this research include providing strategic recommendations for stakeholders in designing contextual and sustainable professional development programs. The method used is a qualitative approach through literature review and in-depth interviews with PAK teachers and educational figures in remote areas. The research results indicate that limited access to training, lack of technological facilities, and insufficient institutional support are major challenges. Effective interventions include locally based training, mentoring by experienced mentors, and utilization of distance learning technology, as well as policy support from the government and religious institutions. The conclusion of this study emphasizes that improving the competence of PAK teachers in remote areas requires a collaborative approach that takes into account the geographical, social, and spiritual conditions of the local community.
