This study aims to analyze the role of pastoral counseling in addressing work burnout and helping workers rediscover meaning and purpose in life amid job-related pressures. The research is grounded in the growing phenomenon of burnout, characterized by emotional, physical, and mental exhaustion caused by excessive workload, financial stress, and unsupportive work environments. This study is expected to provide theoretical benefits for the development of pastoral theology and practical contributions for the church and pastoral caregivers in designing counseling services relevant to the needs of contemporary workers. The research utilized a descriptive qualitative approach, which included conducting online interviews with workers in North Sulawesi and performing a literature review of scholarly sources and biblical texts. Data were analyzed thematically using source triangulation to ensure validity. The findings reveal that pastoral counseling plays a crucial role in offering spiritual and emotional support, guiding workers in reflecting on their life experiences, and raising awareness of their vocational calling within work. Field results highlight that workers experiencing burnout can be restored through pastoral guidance by viewing work as a calling to serve rather than merely an economic demand. In conclusion, pastoral counseling serves as an integral strategy to help workers cope with burnout, rediscover purposeful living, and build spiritual and emotional resilience in facing the challenges of the modern workplace.
