Pengalaman Eksistensial Lansia Penderita Hipertensi: Studi Fenomenologis-Teologis di Jemaat GMIM Betlehem Lansot

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memahami dan mendeskripsikan pengalaman hidup lansia penderita hipertensi dalam memaknai spiritualitas, sakit, dan ketaatan pengobatan di Jemaat GMIM Betlehem Lansot, serta merumuskan implikasi pastoral yang kontekstual berdasarkan pengalaman tersebut. Penelitian ini bermanfaat secara teoretis bagi pengembangan kajian teologi pastoral dan fenomenologi, serta secara praktis bagi gereja dalam mengembangkan pendampingan lansia yang mengintegrasikan dimensi spiritual, medis, keluarga, dan budaya. Penelitian menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi. Informan dipilih secara purposif, terdiri atas delapan lansia penderita hipertensi dan dua informan kunci, yaitu pendeta dan penatua. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi partisipatif dan wawancara mendalam, kemudian dianalisis melalui epoché/bracketing, identifikasi pernyataan signifikan, pengelompokan unit makna, serta penyusunan deskripsi tekstural dan struktural untuk menemukan esensi pengalaman. Hasil penelitian menemukan tiga esensi utama, yaitu sakit sebagai pengalaman eksistensial dalam perspektif providensia Calvin, ketaatan pengobatan sebagai dialektika iman dan akal dalam terang costly grace Bonhoeffer, serta budaya dan relasi sosial sebagai horizon makna melalui mapalus dan semali/masaali dalam dialog dengan Niebuhr. Penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa pendampingan pastoral perlu berangkat dari pengalaman lansia melalui proses mendengarkan, refleksi teologis, penguatan jejaring keluarga dan komunitas, serta dukungan terhadap tindakan pengobatan yang bertanggung jawab. Gereja perlu mengembangkan model pendampingan pastoral yang personal, kontekstual, dan berkelanjutan.
