The development of digital spaces has transformed patterns of communication, learning, social relationships, identity formation, and the dissemination of values within popular culture. This condition presents both opportunities and challenges for Christian education in carrying out faith formation. This study aims to provide a theological reflection on the potential and crises of digital spaces as a locus of faith formation amid popular culture. The study employs a literature review method with a content analysis approach to relevant literature on theology, Christian education, philosophy of education, popular culture, and digital technology. The findings indicate that digital spaces have the potential to become a locus of faith formation through learning, communication, participation, fellowship, and Christian witness, but they also generate crises in the form of consumerist culture, popularity-oriented values, fragmented attention, moral relativism, performative identity, and shifts in authority and meaning. Therefore, Christian education needs to develop discernment, character, wisdom, responsibility, and spiritual depth in responding to digital culture. The novelty of this study lies in understanding digital spaces not merely as a medium for Christian education, but as a locus of faith formation with both pedagogical and theological dimensions, with Christ as κύριος (kyrios) over all reality.
